Prairie Artisanal Perennial Collab & First Look At Christmas Box

Hey this is pretty cool. We often get confused with Perennial Artisan Ales, from St. Louis. We’re both known for our stouts (Bomb! and Abraxas), people generally suck at spelling our names (Prairie and Perennial), and we both worry that Ian McKellen is going to die before earning an Oscar.

Recently, JD and Dani visited our buds at Perennial and they brewed some damn BEER together. Keep an eye on our social media channels (and theirs) for updates about when you can taste our co-creation!

FIRST LOOK at the Christmas Box

We’ve made a Christmas Gift Pack for the last several years — and I’m excited to bring YOU, esteemed newsletter subscriber, the first look at this year’s revamped edition!

You’ll receive a nice glass, and bottles of Bomb! (1), Christmas Bomb! (2), and BARREL AGED Christmas Bomb! (1) — this box hasn’t ever had a BA Christmas Bomb! before, so I’m personally quite stoked.

It’s the perfect gift for the hard-to-shop-for stout-lover in your life, and it’s absolutely also acceptable to just buy one for yourself. These will start hitting shelves in October!

NEW BEER FRIDAY

Today’s New Beers at Prairie OKC:

  1. COOKIE MONSTER - Imperial Stout aged in 10-Year Templeton Reserve Rye barrels. That RYE gives this beer a helluva backbone... which is funny, because the ACTUAL Cookie Monster (of Sesame Street) doesn't have a backbone at all. We added huge chocolate chip cookies from Healthy Cravings. 14.9% ABV.

  2. FRUTZR (BATCH 19) is also ready for you to pour into your face! This one is loaded down with a buttload of fruit... orange, tangerine, banana, mango, dragonfruit, and starfruit (which isn't a real fruit, I'm pretty sure Kevin made it up). 5% ABV.
