Gigantic Catch 23 Experimental IPA With Nectaron Hops

Gigantic Catch 23 Experimental IPA With Nectaron Hops

From Gigantic:

Catch 23 Experimental IPA returns, reimagined as an experimental IPA! We are of course keeping the long-time fan favorite label art featuring a Shark vs. Eagle vs. Bear battle royale, just changing up the hop profile.   zzubreebym

The original Catch 23 was a pale ale using experimental hop 527. Unfortunately, they stopped growing 527 – that’s how it goes with experimental hops. So, we decided to bring back Catch 23 every year with a new experimental hop and kick it up a notch by making it an IPA.

This year’s hop is the super sought-after Nectaron hop from New Zealand. It’s known for its intense tropical and citrus aroma and flavor. This will for sure be your favorite springtime, patio weather IPA!

Grab a Catch 23 in a bottle and on draft today at all 3 Gigantic locations, The Brewery and Champagne Lounge (5224 SE 26th Ave), the Robot Room at Rocket Empire Machine (6935 NE Glisan), and Hawthorne Pub (4344 SE Hawthorne Blvd). You can also order home delivery at
www.GiganticBrewing.com. Look for Catch 23 on draft and in 16.9oz refillable bottles in the Portland metro area, and along the west coast in CA and WA!

The Catch 23 label was created by artist Ben Walker-Storey, who loves making art and making people laugh.  He’s created show posters for comedians like Dana Gould and Maria Bamford, animation for the Adam Carolla Show, and original portraits of several comedians who hang in San Francisco’s legendary Cobb’s Comedy Club.

As always, Gigantic beer is packaged in
BottleDrop Refillable bottles.  BottleDrop Refillables are sorted, washed, inspected, and delivered back to Oregon’s craft beverage producers to be refilled.  By choosing beverages in refillable bottles, you help keep our air clean, our beaches, parks and roadsides litter-free, promote a circular economy, and set a model for future generations.
