Here’s a real (and sad) FaceBook post coming from Ye Olde Brothers Brewery in Navarre, FL.. I can only wonder 1) how many beers were consumed before deciding to post this sort of thing on social media and 2) how soon before I’m posting that Ye Olde Brothers brewery is struggling. Regardless of where you come down politically, you should know better than to intentionally alienate even one customer, let alone the number of people who will no longer walk in the door or drink the beer. Not surprised. I lived near that area for several years and people there are so ignorant to anything that is different to them. As the rest of us grow, understand our ever changing world, and open our hearts to people who may be different than us; many residents of the FL panhandle stubbornly refute change and make fun of others like children on a playground. It’s sad. As much as the beaches are stunning there, many (not all) residents socially act like it’s the 60s or 70s still.
