Maui Hard Seltzer Wins Big at U.S. Open Competition

Maui Hard Seltzer’s Lemonade earned a Gold Medal in the Lemon/Lemonade category, while POG (passionfruit, orange, guava) earned a Silver Medal in the POG category, and Dragon Fruit earned a Bronze Medal in the Fruit Category.

"Congrats to the Team," stated Maui Brewing Company President and COO Scott Metzger in an internal email. "Our seltzers continue to slay!"

A brand extension of Hawaii’s largest independent craft brewery, Maui Hard Seltzer debuted in January 2020 with the launch of POG, Citrus, and Dragon Fruit flavors. Over the past two years, MHS added Acai and Lemonade to the lineup. The spiked sparkling water with a hint of natural flavors provide a sessionable low calorie, low carb, low sugar, gluten free offering to consumers.

Maui Hard Seltzer is available in six-packs for single flavors and in mix 12- and 24-packs through key retailers and on draft at select restaurant, bar and resort partners, including Maui Brewing Company’s restaurant locations on Maui and Oahu. In early 2022, the brand published that distribution would expand to the 26 mainland markets where Maui Brewing Company products are available.
