Along with beer will be food prepared by Shreveport’s local restaurants. Area musicians will perform during Shreveport Brew, and festival goers will be able to watch the night’s biggest college football games from any of the big-screens located around the event.

More information about the festival and partners such as Mudbug Madness can be found at https://shreveportbrew.com.
"Mudbug Madness is thrilled to partner with the Red River Revel to bring Shreveport Brew to the community again this year," said Mary Helen Marrs, executive director of Downtown Shreveport Unlimited. "This is the 13th year of bringing the community together to sample beers and local cuisine, enjoy live entertainment, and spend time together in downtown Shreveport.  Saturday is going to be an amazing afternoon!"

In additional to Brew, the Shreveport-Bossier brewery scene has gained national attention. Out of the many beer locations, there are three acclaimed craft breweries: The 7th Tap Brewing Project, Flying Heart Brewing and Pub and Great Raft Brewing.

The 7th Tap Brewing Project was recently named one of the top breweries in Louisiana by Louisiana Life’s La Nouvelle Louisiane https://www.louisianalife.com/2022-la-nouvelle-louisiane/. They were also featured on the Louisiana Insider Podcast. Visit https://anchor.fm/louisianainsider/episodes/Episode-101-Looking-for-the-Latest-in-Louisiana-e1ns6pm (12:30-14:00) to listen.

Wanting to continue their growth, 7th Tap hired brew cook, Rhantu Fernando Salazar Gamiño to enhance the location’s unique flavors.

New breweries have also been coming to the area including Red River Brewpub located at the Garage in the East Bank District, which opened Oct.14.

An abundance of breweries and regularly scheduled brewery tours makes Shreveport-Bossier a great stop for beer connoisseurs.  Visit https://www.shreveport-bossier.org/dining/craft-beer/ for more information, and start planning your tastings and travel adventure.
