Gigantic + Barley Browns Release Hipster Cowboy IPA Collaboration Today

Barley Browns Collabo is Hoptastic!
Gigantic Brewing, in conjunction with
Barley Brown’s Beer from Baker City, OR, present Hipster Cowboy IPA, a cool kid meets country boy collaboration.  We each brought our own unique styles to form a true Oregonian IPA, representing both east and west, cowboy and hipster. Inspired by big skies and Bloodshot records, this IPA will kick your cowboy boots up a notch higher.
We teamed up with our friends from Barley Browns to lasso the finest Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops on god’s green earth to make this IPA.  This awesome blend of citrus hops, touch of tropical fruit, with a little bit of pine is just what your summer drinking session desires.  Hipster Cowboy is a laid back, effortlessly cool brew best enjoyed at your favorite bar, on your back porch or front stoop.

Ben reads Goodnight Brew to the Barley Browns & Gigantic Collaboration Team.

Join us for First Taste Tuesday on July 19th featuring Hipster Cowboy at both The Brewery and Champagne Lounge (5224 SE 26th Ave) and Robot Room at the Rocket Empire Machine (6935 NE Glisan). You can also look for it on draft and in 16.9oz refillable bottles at your favorite bottle shop or bar in the Portland metro area and throughout Oregon.

We have had the pleasure of working with artist Ben Walker many times over the years.  You might remember him from the Catch 23 Experimental IPA label and our collaboration with Boneyard called We Don’t Need No Stinking Hops.  When he’s not designing beer labels, he is creating show posters for comedians like Dana Gould and Maria Bamford, he is creating animation for the Adam Carolla show, and painting original portraits for several comedians from the legendary Cobb’s Comedy Club in San Francisco.  Check out his IG @benwalkerstorey.
