Outer Range Brewing Taps Campfire Collective for Communications and PR

FRISCO, CO  (January 4, 2022)Outer Range Brewing (ORB), Colorado’s Award-winning craft brewery and apres-adventure hub, is excited to announce partnership with Campfire Collective for Communications and PR. In this partnership, Campfire Collective will work closely with ORB’s founders and marketing team to enhance brand storytelling and manage media relations.

The launch of this partnership comes at an exciting time for the Frisco-based brewery, as they roll into their fifth anniversary at the top of their game. Started by a husband-and-wife team who wanted to combine their love for the Rocky Mountains and the craft beer community, ORB quickly amassed a loyal following of craft beer enthusiasts for their tasty brews and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the brewery. Within a year of pouring their first draft, they started gaining national recognition, accumulating top industry awards and collaborations with like-minded breweries throughout North America and Europe. Today, the community-driven brewers find themselves enjoying a ride on a continued upward trajectory, cranking out a new release schedule impressive both for its scale and consistent quality.

While Campfire Collective founder, Maro LaBlance, is a craft beer fan herself, it was the mutual connection to mountain sports that initially brought the two together. “I was first introduced to Outer Range through an event partnership with Picture, which came as a natural fit since both brands live, eat, and breathe the outdoor lifestyle,” explained LaBlance. “But then I tried their beer and was almost taken aback by how good it was. It was instantly clear that in addition to creating community for outdoor adventurers, these guys are making some of the best beer out there.”

“When we first started, our vision was to perpetuate our love of the mountains by creating a place where people could relive their mountain adventures with loved ones over a craft beer,” said founder, Emily Cleghorn. “We wanted to brew beer worthy of this mountain range, and so even though we were underfunded and understaffed, we poured everything we had into creating the best beer we could make.”

The complementary nature of this partnership has both organizations excited for what lies ahead. “I finally get to promote my favorite part of skiing – apres,” LaBlance joked. “But in all seriousness, I have always admired the craft beer space for their creative branding and community-driven values, and the ORB crew exemplifies everything I love about it. This feels full circle.”

“There were a lot of business-related reasons this partnership made sense for us,” said Cleghorn of the partnership. “But on a personal level we just naturally clicked, and it was clear we would make a great team. We’re looking forward to this next chapter.”

About Outer Range Brewing

Outer Range Brewing is a community-driven microbrewery in the small mountain town of Frisco, Colorado. Co-founder and Head Brewer Lee Cleghorn’s love of craft beer began when he lived in Belgium as a teenager, where the first beers he ever drank were world-class Belgian ales. That background has served as inspiration for his IPAs, which showcase the ester profile of these traditionally hop-forward beers. A graduate of the American Brewers Guild Brewing Science and Engineering school in Vermont, Lee runs Outer Range with his wife and co-founder Emily, who is the Chief Marketing Officer and leads the brewery’s branding, marketing, and sales efforts. They met while homebrewing beer together ten years ago, and today, brew for and with a passionate community who lives at the intersection of craft beer and the outdoor mountain lifestyle.
