MOTHER EARTH BREWING COMPANY CLOSES OUT ’21 WITH 4SEASONS BBA SPICED PLUM WINTER ALE

Vista, CA  & Nampa, ID  – December 30, 2021. Mother Earth’s seasonal rotating barrel-aged program, appropriately known as ‘4Seasons’ just dropped, and is a head turning ode to winter decadence just in time for the New Year. Winter ’21, a bourbon barrel-aged spiced plum winter ale isn’t just a mouthful to pronounce. It possesses a similar base blend as its series’ predecessor, Autumn ’21, using an English Old Ale with deep mahogany tones that develops a purplish hue thanks to the addition of plum and blueberry puree, as well as seasonal spices, like cinnamon & nutmeg.

“The goal with this vintage was to create something that wasn’t just compelling within the series but also something we could look back on and say, wow… we’re really proud of how we closed out 2021. The amount of color we picked up from the fruit puree was really a pleasant surprise and the seasonal spices add an aromatic component that further augment the beer’s appearance.”

-Christopher Baker - Director of Brewing Operations, Mother Earth Brew Co. Tasting the beer is a sensory experience the starts with deep brownish reds in the body and an almost-plum head. As you approach the glass the aroma immediately takes on baking spices. Finally the palate is heavy with a lasting impression.

4Seasons Winter ‘21 is available in 16oz cans and on draft where independent craft beers are sold or at Mother Earth’s Nampa & Boise tasting rooms. Customers may also use the brewery’s interactive beer finder at findmotherearthbrewing.com. More info on the beer and the 4Seasons series are available on the brewery’s website.
