Latest Release From Ground Breaker Brewing is a Cold + Black IPA

From Ground Breaker:

Ground Breaker Brewing is set to release their own spin on the Cold IPA style. The Great American Beer Festival® and World Beer Cup® winning dedicated gluten-free brewery has announced the release of Psychrophilic Cold + Black IPA.  zzubreebym

Cold IPA, pioneered by Kevin Davey of Wayfinder Beer, has grown in popularity. With a desire to put their own stamp on the style, the brewers at Ground Breaker modified a Cascadian Dark Ale base, fermented it with a clean lager yeast at ale temperatures, and dry hopped it at the tail end of fermentation to create a dark and crisp IPA.

“We’re really excited to offer this Cold IPA,” said Tyler Kueber, Head Brewer at Ground Breaker. “It’s great that such a fresh, emerging new style is going to be available to the gluten-free community and we of course put our own spin on it. Our Assistant Brewer Brandon Thomas put a lot of work into research and development on this product and we’re really proud of it.”

Psychrophilic Cold + Black IPA is currently available on draft and in 16 ounce cans at Ground Breaker Brewing and Gastropub. Psychrophilic follows the autumn release of Luella Belgian Pale Ale. The last batch of Luella was packaged on November 24 and is currently available through distribution partners with Psychrophilic soon to follow.
