Crafted In Michigan Collaboration Series
For our third pairing in the Crafted In Michigan Collaboration Series, we’ve teamed up with Madcap Coffee (out of Grand Rapids) and Leaf Me Plant Boutique (out of Detroit) to bring you a couple of different beers with flavor profiles and attributes we’ve never really fully delved into before!
Madcask Hazy IPA
Madcask Hazy IPA, the latest Grand Rapids-based partnership in the Crafted In Michigan Collaboration Series, comes to you from Madcap Coffee. Heavily inspired by the popular Painkiller cocktail, the addition of cascara (the dried fruit of the coffee cherry), orange, pineapple and coconut with citrusy and tropical hops will have you setting sail for your secret island hideaway without ever leaving the state. 6.6% ABV.
Releasing on September 24, the Madcap team will be onsite at our Grand Rapids taproom selling coffee and merchandise to help commemorate the event. Special deli offerings will also be available on release day.
A limited number of 750mL bottles will go on sale at 2pm at our Grand Rapids location and at 11am in Detroit. One bottle limit applies.
Align Me Gruit
We’ve partnered with Alexis Sims of Detroit-based Leaf Me Plant Boutique to bring you Align Me Gruit Style Ale, the latest addition to the Crafted in Michigan Collaboration Series. This rare style incorporates a bouquet of botanicals and an array of herbs to represent each of the 7 Chakras, from root to crown, supported by spicy ginger and hibiscus flowers. 5.8% ABV.
Releasing on September 17, Leaf Me Plant Boutique will be on-site at our Detroit taproom selling plants in the beer garden starting at 6pm. Special deli offerings will also be available on release day to celebrate the event.
