Today I have an exciting new beer coming to the Brewmaster’s Collective club from Firestone Walker Barrelworks in Buellton, CA. This is Vine Minded and it will be a Wine and Whiskey barrel-aged blended ale fermented with white grapes. This beer will be the first ever collaboration blend of beers from the FW Vintage barrel program at Barrelworks. The blend includes a wheatwine ale brewed with the juice of four grape varietals and aged in wheated Whiskey barrels for 18-months, and a mature Barrelworks wild ale that also uses four different grape varietals. The resulting beer will hit 10.4%-AbV and you’re looking at the 12.7oz bottle. Stay tuned for full release info.
