Foothills New Craft Happiness Project Beer Promotes Empowerment

As an industry, craft beer has a responsibility to provide a safe and welcoming workplace culture for everyone. The time to pay more attention to that, and to listen to those for whom that culture has not been safe and welcoming, is past due.
Recent allegations of abuse and harassment within the craft brewing world have been, quite frankly, hard to stomach. We support and honor those and any victims of workplace persecution. We want to continue to do our part to foster a professional culture of safety and inclusivity -- not only here at Foothills but across all of #NCbeer and the country.
We’re very fortunate to have as many women in leadership positions as any craft brewery in the country. So to salute them, and the thousands of hard-working women in our industry, Our next Craft Happiness Project beer will be called HER IPA – brewed to promote girls’ and women’s empowerment.
A portion of proceeds will benefit Pink Boots Society, an organization devoted to supporting, inspiring and encouraging women in craft beer. A beer release/benefit party will be held Saturday June 12th at our tasting room. We’ve invited all our local and regional breweries to come raise a pint and initiate the discussions we need to have to ensure craft beer strives to honor and respect everyone in its community.

Craft Happiness IPA-MEND

Mend. It’s what we’re all trying to do. Well now there’s a #CraftHappiness  beer dedicated to that. MEND IPA is not only meant to embrace the process of moving forward, it’s also to salute those who have been on the frontlines of the pandemic:
Medical personnel
ER workers
Nurses
Doctors
A portion of proceeds will be donated to the NC Healthcare Foundation.
This hazy brew has notes of blueberry and mild citrus with a sweet but dry malt backbone.
ABV- 5.5% IBU-35
Raise a pint and let’s mend. There's also a LIMITED number of 4-pack cans available at the tasting room only.

UNITY 5K

We love all the wonderful, diverse people that make up our craft beer community.
That's why we are excited to announce our partnership with Together We Stand NC and 4 other NC Breweries in hosting a Unity 5k.

This social run/walk is centered around promoting peaceful demonstrations and honest, unfiltered conversation to bring awareness of systemic racism and injustice to people of color. Join us July 17th at 12pm at The Tasting Room.

Registration is live! When you sign up you get an official 2021 Together We Stand NC t-shirt.

Proceeds from the race will benefit United Way of Forsyth County. Sign up and join us in a great day of exercise, conversation and delicious beer!
