A Passion For: The Summer of Tart N Juicy

April Update

Everybody knows the history of IPAs, fewer know how sour ales came to fruition, but what about Sour IPAs?

Who cares, they taste great! Each flavor in our Tart N Juicy sour IPA series pairs well with hot days at the pool, last-minute hikes, and overdue yard work. Take the whole trio with you whenever you plan to spend the day in the sun.

The Original Tart N Juicy

The first widely available Sour IPA in the US of A is our Tart N Juicy. We combined the clean, puckering tartness of kettle souring with an abundance of juicy, citrus-driven hops to create a beer that's the best of both worlds. We were the first, and we're still the best.

Tropical Tart N Juicy

We use natures wonder bug, lactobacillus, and crazy hops to express insanely tropical fruit notes. Tropical is more tart than the original Tart N Juicy, but less sour. You won't believe there's no fruit added. Get your lei on.

Lemon Bomb Tart N Juicy

The lactobacillus, hops, and real lemons are like sunshine for your mouth. This lemon bomb is bursting with flavor that you won't get at some kids lemonade stand, so pucker up and carpe diem.

A Passion For: Porch Suds

June Update

There's a lot of beer pairings to choose from; beer & pizza, beer & burgers, or even just beer & more beer, but there's something special about the beer and porch combo. Maybe it's the afternoon air, maybe it's the sunset that ends every session, or maybe it's just the fact that the workday is over, but, every porch beer has a few things in common. Porch beers are light & refreshing, while still packing a full punch when it comes to flavor. Enter Lemon Bomb Sour IPA, a branch off from the original Tart N Juicy Sour IPA, but built to taste like summer.

Lemon Bomb Tart N Juicy

Unlike its siblings Tart N Juicy Sour IPA and Tropical Tart N Juicy, Lemon Bomb Tart N Juicy isn’t an IPA. Very light & late hop additions serve only to balance against the sweetness of the beer. We use real, fresh pressed lemon juice sourced from The Pressery in Denver, Colorado. 50% sour, 50% shandy. 100% delicious.
