From Creature Comforts:
Showcasing beautiful strawberries from two local farms, Hickory Diamond (Harvest Year 2020) releases from Creature Comforts this February. The beer will be available in 500-mL bottles from the brewery's taproom.
Hickory Diamond is a 7.9% ABV blended oak-aged beer with local strawberries from Hickory Hill and Diamond Hill Farm's 2020 harvest. Creature Comforts connected with the two farms at the Athens Farmers Market hosted in the brewery's outdoor space. After aging on a generous amount of berries from these two farms, Hickory Diamond returned to barrels for further maturation before making its way into bottles.
This bright and sweet beer is a proud addition to Creature Comforts' fruited mixed-culture farm celebrations that explore the historical relationship between brewers and farmers. Bottles of Hickory Diamond are now available for pre-purchase on Oznr and the beer will be available on draft and to-go in bottles from the brewery on February 13.
