Wasatch Brewery Launches Several New Beers Just in Time For Winter

From Wasatch:

Cheers to Brand New Beers From Utah's Most Enduring Brewery

Park City, UT (December 17, 2020) It’s finally winter here in Utah and Wasatch Brewery is releasing new beers to warm you up as the temps go down. Two new winter seasonal beers, a killer duo 12-pack to satisfy everyone’s needs and a new year-round offering round out the exciting brews ready to hit the shelves (and the slopes).

To start, bundle up and get ready for a warming 7.1% ABV Imperial Amber Ale brewed with the finest Northwestern pale and caramel malts, then generously hopped with Mosaic and Galaxy hops. Jump on the lift and crack open this deep red ale with a rich caramel malt backbone and an elevated, fruity hop profile. Fans of Wasatch seasonals might recognize this beer as previous years’ First One Down Winter Warmer, rebranded this year to better reflect what a wonderful beer we think it is! Wonderful Winter Ale will be available all winter long in liquor stores across Utah and in Wasatch brewpubs and taprooms.
When the snow starts to pile up and you're looking for a winter seasonal that clocks in at a sessionable 5% ABV, reach for the delicious malty notes of Snow Bank Amber Lager. A smooth and flavorful malt backbone is balanced with heaps of hops in this crisp, clean refresher. Snow Bank will be available all winter long, both on draft and in 6-packs at grocery stores.
The newest year-round release from Wasatch is Our Share IPA. This well-balanced, sessionable, 5% ABV IPA brings notes of pine and berry, with a smooth malt backbone that will have you sharing this beer all year long. "The name comes from Wasatch’s iconic tagline," says Brand Director Caitie Gold. “'We drink our share and sell the rest’ is at the heart of what we do: making beer we love to drink, and Our Share is no different. This is a beer we want to crack open at the end of a shift and share with friends." Our Share will be available across Wasatch’s distribution footprint on draft and in grocery.

Last but certainly not least, Wasatch combined two of their new brews for a perfect duo 12-pack designed with variety in mind: a classic IPA and an Amber Lager pair up to satisfy everyone’s pre or post ski sessions with Our Share and Snow Bank. This new duo will be around through the end of February, followed by a warmer-weather-forward pair of beers.Wasatch Brewery Launches Several New Beers Just in Time For Winter

Director of Brewing Operations, Adam Curfew, is stoked for these new brews to hit the shelves. “Wasatch has always been known for its delicious and innovative seasonal beers," says Curfew. "This year we are checking off all the boxes I expect from great winter brews with piney hops, caramel malts and a style to pair with every meal."

About Wasatch Brewery
When Greg Schirf moved from Milwaukee to Utah in the early 80’s and saw the lack of local beer, he knew he needed to take matters into his own hands and do what any self-respecting midwesterner would: start a brewery. Now reaching over 20 states, Wasatch was the very first brewery in Utah, and has been proudly misbehaving and brewing award-winning brews since 1986.
