Creature Comforts to Release Athena Paradiso with Blackberry & Black Currant and My Very Own Mole

My Very Own Mole
Release date: October 31

My Very Own Mole (pronounced mo-leh) is an 11.0% ABV imperial stout with chilis, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, pecans, vanilla beans, benne seeds, & hoja santa. This stout explores the complex world of culinary-influenced ingredients, specifically the desire to recreate the native Mexican dish mole. Mole is a regional and personal dish that reflects a true sense of the land, the ingredients, and the people who make it.
When we set out to create this mole-inspired stout, we consulted with local chef Maricela Vega to focus on ingredients local to us while also honoring this traditional dish. "Mi mero mole" is an affectionate phrase in Mexico that translates to "my very own mole." My Very Own Mole will be available by the glass and in 500mL bottles from our taproom on October 31.
