Saint Arnold Adding Noble Haze Cans / Double Art Car

Saint Arnold Adding Noble Haze Cans

This morning I have a new can coming from Saint Arnold Brewing in Houston, TX.  This is Noble Haze and it will be a hazy IPA with Noble hops (Hallertau Hersbrucker, Hallertau Blanc, & Galaxy).  The beer will hit 7.8%-AbV & 52 IBU and you’re looking at the 12oz Ball can.  Stay tuned for release details. I’ve also added in the 2020 packaging for Double Art Car IPA (9.2%-AbV, 12oz cans).Saint Arnold Double Art Car

This 10 July 2020 update from Saint Arnold:

Limited Release IPA:
Noble Haze Returns Monday

Back by popular demand! Our take on the Hazy IPA, Noble Haze, is back for a limited time only and this go around, it's sporting fresh new digs. While our original release of this beer was draft only, now you can bring it home in six packs.

The recipe features a malt bill typical of the style, with large amounts of wheat and oats added to provide body and mouthfeel, balancing the blast of hop flavor and aroma. Noble Haze comes in at 7.8% ABV and 52 IBU.

We use a fair amount of noble Hallertau Hersbrucker hops in many of our traditional German recipes, and they work nicely here too. A dry hopping of Hersbrucker, Hallertau Blanc, and Galaxy provide a fruit cocktail of floral, melon, tropical fruit, and citrus character.

Noble Haze will be available starting Monday, July 13 in six packs at grocery stores and on tap at select spots. It will also be available for curbside pickup or drive thru beer to-go at our Beer Garden & Restaurant, while supplies last.

We encourage you to enjoy Noble Haze fresh, while the hop flavor and aroma are at their peaks.

Noble Haze - Old and New in Harmony

Curious why we chose a noble hop for this recipe?

Or what makes a hop "noble" in the first place?

Coming Wednesday:
DDH Art Car IPA with HBC-586 & Galaxy

Art Car IPA, fittingly, makes a great canvas. We love the original, but we also enjoy building on it to create new takes. This time we're doubling down on the dry hop: DDH Art Car IPA with HBC-586 & Galaxy debuts at our Beer Garden & Restaurant on Wednesday.

For this double dry hopped version of Art Car IPA, we hit our original recipe with an additional dry hop - using the experimental HBC-586 varietal and the popular Galaxy. Expect everything you love about Art Car IPA, with an extra punch of grapefruit and tropical notes.

DDH Art Car IPA with HBC-586 & Galaxy will be available in six packs of 12 oz cans starting Wednesday, July 15, only at our Beer Garden & Restaurant and only while supplies last. You can order online for curbside pickup or drive thru for beer to-go.
