Plus a Weekend-Long Celebration at UrbanTree’s Westside Tasting Room Friday, October 4 through Sunday, October 6 Benefitting All Stripes
UrbanTree Cidery, Atlanta’s first craft cidery, will launch limited-edition Pride cans on Thursday, October 3. In addition, UrbanTree will host a weekend-long Pride celebration at their Westside tasting room (1465 Howell Mill Road) October 4 to 6 featuring drink specials, daily raffles and a comedy showcase hosted by local comedian Ian Aber.
For a limited time, UrbanTree will offer its award-winning Barrel-Aged craft cider in special Pride cans (6.5% ABV). The celebratory cans will be available in the taproom starting Thursday, October 3 as well as available for purchase at retailers carrying UrbanTree cider around Atlanta. UrbanTree’s Barrel-Aged cider is made by fermenting hand-pressed apple juice with white wine yeast before aging it in rum barrels; the end result is a sturdy, dry cider with hints of brown sugar, woody vanilla and oak.
From Friday, October 4 to Sunday, October 6, UrbanTree Cidery will host a weekend of Pride celebrations, featuring Pride Can Buckets, including four Pride cans for $20, as well as Pride Cocktail Buckets, which serve two people for $18. There will also be festive décor and daily raffles for prizes like UrbanTree Cider, branded gear, comedy night tickets and two tickets to the Atlanta United FC game on Sunday, October 6, among others.
Other festivities include a Pride-themed edition of UrbanTree’s Bottle & Board party, which is held every Friday from 4-10pm. On Friday, October 4, guests can order a charcuterie board and a 750ml cider bottle for $30. The fun continues all day on Saturday, and at 7pm, local comedian Ian Aber and Hot Mic Comedy will host a Comedy night showcase. A portion of proceeds from the weekend will benefit All Stripes, a public group of LGBTQ and allied supporters of Atlanta United FC.
