Modern Times Announces Sept Releases

From Modern Times:

September has arrived, and with it comes a glorious avalanche of liquid magic from our beer sorcerers. A dizzying array of haze-bombs, dessert stouts, sours, barrel-aged wonders, and collaborative radness will be going up for grabs on 9/14, and we think you'll agree that it's one of our most baller lineups to date. A lot of these bad bois are going to be extremely limited in quantity, so we would highly recommend being ready to roll when the sale opens if you want your pick of this breathtaking buffet of adult beverages. We'll get into fine details and pricing next week, but here's the current lineup:

  • Good News (8% DIPA with Strata, Citra, & Cashmere Hops—Collab with Mumford Brewing)
  • Sky Burst (8% DIPA with Galaxy & Citra Hops—Collab with Sapwood Cellars)
  • Sky Party! (8% DIPA with Galaxy, Nelson, Citra, & Amarillo Hops)
  • Tentbier (5% Festbier-Style Lager—Collab with Heater Allen)
  • Doom Hawk (11% Imperial Dessert Stout with Coconut & Vanilla—Collab with Horus Aged Ales)
  • Mega Devil's Teeth Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Pistachios & Coconut (13.5% Imperial Dessert Stout)
  • Chaos Grid: Breakfast Lord (13.8% Imperial Dessert Stout with Coffee, Vanilla, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup, & Candy Cap Mushrooms)

SPEAKING OF RARE BEERS, universally coveted memberships in our League of Partygoers & Elegant People will be going up for grabs on 11/2. For the unfamiliar, this unparalleled experience in liquid luxury boasts a king's ransom of included beers; access to purchase even more exceedingly-rare, exclusive bottles; early access to all special release sales and event tickets; a bundle of sweet League merch; and a host of League preview tastings, special events, and VIP privileges that will make you the envy of all your friends.
On top of all of the aforementioned treasures, there's also the priceless gift of camaraderie with a whole bunch of genuinely amazing and incredibly chill fellow beer nerds. Seriously—we expected this thing to be fun when we started it a few years ago, but the community that has formed around it has surpassed all of our wildest expectations, and we are genuinely fortunate to be a part of it. We couldn't be more psyched for another year of partying, and we're excited to welcome some new faces to the crew.
We'll have all the jaw-dropping details on next year's League coming down the line soon, but for now, there are two important takeaways:
1) It's going to be more awesome than the human mind can possibly conceive.
2) Spots are extremely limited and expected to go quickly.
Save the date and time for 11/2 at 10am if you want in, and stay tuned for more thrilling info. If you want to check out all the radness from last year's League, you can totally do so

WHAT'S UP, SANTA ANA? We're going to be in your hood tomorrow, and we're giving you two distinctly awesome partying opportunities to choose from. Or you can be a total boss and make it out to both—your call.
First we've got a very special beer dinner at Playground. This unique culinary experience comes complete with pairings of some of our rarest and tastiest beverages. NOTE: This event is not vegan, so please plan accordingly. There are only 12 seats left for this shindig. You can secure yours
RIGHT HERE.
Just across the street, we're throwing down a ridiculous beer list for a tap takeover at Native Son. Not only will the beers be incredibly bomb, but there are no tickets required; you can just walk right in, get yourself a beer, and give us a high-five.
Both events start at 6pm. You are now armed with delicious knowledge; use it wisely.
