This morning you get your first peek at several new beers coming to the 11th Edition of the El Catador Club from Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, FL: Leon is a Brandy barrel-aged barleywine-style ale dedicated to Leon Jay Coker (1926-2012), Ahaltocob is a Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, cacao nibs and chili peppers dedicated to the “demon inhabitant of the netherworld in Mayan mythology”, Bone Valley is a Cognac and Bourbon barrel-aged sweet stout named for Florida’s Bone Valley, Stakhanov’s Barleywine is a Bourbon barrel-aged black barleywine-style ale dedicated to Alexey Stakhanov and Toddy & Sap will be a Rum barrel-aged old ale with coconut and maple. These are all 750ml bottles and stay tuned for club release timing.
