Woodchuck® Hard Cider Partners with Appalachian Trail Conservancy

Woodchuck® Hard Cider Partners with Appalachian Trail ConservancyFrom Woodchuck:

June 3rd, 2019 (MIDDLEBURY, VT .) — Woodchuck® Hard Cider is excited to partner with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy in June. Woodchuck has called Vermont home since its beginning in 1991, and through their almost 30-year history, protecting the beautiful landscape that makes Vermont so special has been very important to Woodchuck so this partnership with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) is perfect pairing for them.

In the month of June, Woodchuck will donate $1 of every post on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #ChuckLovesATC. They will donate a minimum of $10,000 and up to $15,000. The funds raised will go to helping preserve open areas along the Vermont portion of the Appalachian Trail. Woodchuck staff members will also take a day to help maintain an open area with ATC staff members and Trail management partners from the Green Mountain Club.

“Our fans and employees are outdoors people who enjoy the trail,” said Brand Director, Megan Skinner, “so partnering with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy felt so natural. We can’t wait to see the photos and posts
we receive in support of the program.”

“This gracious contribution provided by Woodchuck® Hard Cider will assist the Appalachian Trail Conservancy in its mission to preserve the last remaining contiguous open space in the eastern United States for generations to come,” said Hawk Metheny, regional director for the Conservancy. “We are proud to partner with an organization that values America’s irreplaceable landscapes and encourages it fans to join the cause and help protect national treasures like the Appalachian Trail.”

Utilize the hashtag #ChuckLovesATC during the month of June, and make sure to follow Woodchuck’s social channels for more details and updates. Woodchuck Hard Cider is proud to support the Appalachian Trail
Conservancy!
