Today we have a new sour bottle coming from Wicked Weed in Asheville, NC. This is Jack Fruit and it will be a barrel-aged American sour ale fermented with jackfruit. The beer is based on their “Morte stock” with a “high concentration” of aged hops and 4-pounds per gallon of fresh jackfruit (and after barrel-ageing gives us Jackfruit Morte.) The beer hits 6.6%-AbV and you’re looking at the 500ml bottles.
