Terrapin Releasing a New Miller Collaboration: Hoppin' Bubbly

Terrapin Releasing a New Miller Collaboration: Hoppin' Bubbly
We brought you the news already, but this from Terrapin:

It started on a late night out discussing ideas for our next Terrapin collaboration. The Terrapin Tribe had switched from Hopsecutioner to something lighter: a round of Miller High Life. Someone brought up that it would be a hit to collaborate with the Champagne of Beers. Ideas kept swirling, and finally, it all came together with a few phone calls after a test batch of a new style of IPA.

When we decided that we wanted to brew a Brut IPA, that’s when the pieces finally fell into place. Brut IPAs a known for their dry finish, and champagne-like effervescence. Who better to collaborate on a Brut IPA with than the Champagne of Beers, Miller High Life? And so, Hoppin’ Bubbly came to be.

Hoppin’ Bubbly Brut IPA celebrates the classic malt bill from “The Champagne of Beers” and Terrapin’s affinity for IPAs. Innovative brewing and dry hopping techniques help create a beer that has a crisp, bone-dry finish and an aromatic hop profile.

For now, the collaboration will only be available in Georgia and Wisconsin, the hometowns of both breweries. Hoppin’ Bubbly will be available on draft and in 6-pack 12oz cans. We’ll be releasing it first at our Tasting Room in Athens on May 1st, and in Georgia and Wisconsin markets shortly after.

ABOUT TERRAPIN BEER CO:
Terrapin Beer Co. began as a daydream between founders John Cochran and Spike Buckowski, who brewed and released their first beer in 2002. Inspired by the creative culture of Athens, the brewery’s home, Terrapin continues to produce unique beers year after year.

Whether you’re joining us for a brewery tour at our tasting room, drinking a Hopsecutioner at your favorite watering hole, enjoying some Luau Krunkles on the beach, sipping some Up-Hi on your back porch, or enjoying a RecreationAle after a long day on the trail, we hope you appreciate the dedication we’ve put into our beers.
