Old Forge Brewing Celebrating 10-Years

Old Forge Brewing Celebrating 10 YearsFrom Old Forge Brewing:

Wow. Time flies when you're having fun, right? Ten years ago we started this journey with big dreams, a thirst for beer, and a leap of faith. We didn't know where it would take us, or how we would get there, but with the right people we knew we would enjoy the ride. In the beginning, friends and family pitched in, and we made lots of new friends along the way. Our family, friends, employees, and most of all our customers have been there enjoying the ride with us . Thank you to everyone who joined us in this journey, we wouldn't be here without you!
In celebration of our 10th anniversary, we brewed an Imperial IPA with Golden Promise malt, hopped with Pekko, Cascade, and Amarillo, and finishing up around 9.5% alcohol by volume with loads of resin and citrus, balanced with a malty backbone and long finish. Please celebrate with us as we tap this special beer on our official anniversary date 12/5/18!
We also have a special firkin tapping on Friday 12/7/18 at our Danville brewpub at 4 pm. It's a Ginger Snap Brown Ale, using an English Brown Ale as the base beer, brewed with oatmeal, cinnamon, and vanilla and conditioned in the firkin with fresh ginger and molasses.
Last but not least, on Saturday 12/8/18, we will be raffling off a custom Gilson Old Forge Brewing Company "Cheers to 10 Years" snowboard! Thanks to the awesome people at Gilson for hand making this one of a kind snowboard out of Pennsylvania poplar, like us they strive to be a truly local company rooted in their community. One lucky winner will be going home with it on Saturday night! No cost to participate, you just have to be present at 8 pm to win! Van Wagner will be performing at the brewpub immediately following the drawing.
