Second Self Beer Co. Releases "Havana Nights" Guava SourFrom Second Self:

Guava Flavor Profile Inspired by Second Self

Cofounder Jason Santamaria’s Cuban Family Roots

Second Self Beer Company, the Atlanta, Georgia-based craft brewery, will release its newest offering Havana Nights (4.6% ABV) in June. A guava sour inspired by Co-founder Jason Santamaria’s Cuban heritage and crafted to be enjoyed on hot summer nights, the Berliner Weisse is fermented with fresh pink guava puree for a sour yet refreshing citrus finish with a pink hue.

Havana Nights will be available on draft June 9th at Second Self’s taproom in Atlanta (1317 Logan Circle NW), and on draft and in cans in bars and restaurants throughout Georgia and Alabama later in the month. The vibrant can artwork was designed by Tex Grubbs to reflect the Cuban inspiration behind the beer, as Jason Santamaria grew up with a love for the fresh guava found in his favorite desserts and savory dishes.

Suggested pairings for Havana Nights include Cuban sandwiches, maduros, watermelon salad, and goat cheese.
