Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen in Bellingham (601 W Holly St) is pleased to announce the traditional family Oktoberfest will be reinstated again on September 8, 2018! This year the fun will happen between 1 and 10 pm. There will be lots of beer garden games, face painters for kids and adults, music including live German Oompahpah music with Sylvia and German style beer garden games. Make sure to get ready for the costume contest (you will want to wear your dirndls and lederhosen), liter mug holding, yodeling contest and more.
Oktoberfest is a celebration of the fall harvest in Germany and there will be lots of German style beers to help celebrate in Bellingham. Chuckanut Brewery is known for its authentic German style beer and excellent food. Even though the Kitchen’s regular menu will not be available the bratwurst, sauerkraut and beer mustard and German pretzels will. A food truck with other food options will be on site too. Make sure to get this Oktoberfest in your calendar, you won’t want to miss this special fall celebration!
