Catawba Brewing Celebrates Cinco de Mayo with Carolina del Norte Mexican Lager & Small Batch Lime Agave Gose

Catawba Brewing Celebrates Cinco de Mayo with Carolina del Norte Mexican Lager and Small Batch Lime Agave GoseFrom Catawba Brewing:

Catawba Brewing releases Carolina del Norte Mexican Lager (5.5 percent ABV) on Friday, May 4. The intersection of North Carolina and Mexico is a place of questionable geography but undeniably inspired beer. Brewed for Cinco de Mayo at the Catawba Cantina, Carolina del Norte pays homage to the rich brewing tradition of our Southern neighbor. Handcrafted with Vienna malt and German noble hops, this well-traveled cerveza is clean, crisp, and superbly drinkable. Find it at all four Catawba locations, and in 5-state distribution – draft and 6-pack 12oz cans. ¡Salud!

SMALL BATCH:

On Thursday, May 3, Catawba taps a Lime Agave Gose (5.9 percent ABV). This reinterpretation of Germany’s sour wheat ale is brewed with lime and blue agave for a shot of tequila-inspired flavor, while maintaining the beer’s light, refreshing character. Available exclusively at Catawba’s four tasting rooms, Lime Agave Gose will be featured at the brewery’s Cinco de Mayo festivities in Asheville and Charlotte on Saturday.
