From Hill Farmstead:
Hill Farmstead Brewery has been named Best Brewery in the World for the year 2017, as well as Best Brewery in the United States and Vermont, by RateBeer, the world’s largest, most popular beer review and rating website. This is the fourth year in a row and the fifth time in the past six years that the brewery has been honored as Best Brewery in the World, United States and Vermont.
The brewery’s Aaron, a barrel-aged barleywine style ale, was honored as Best Beer for Vermont. Eight of its beers were included in the top 100 beers in the world by RateBeer, and six of its beers were honored in the Top 50 New Releases in the World. In addition, its brewery taproom was once again named Best Brewer Taproom in Vermont. Twenty-two of its beers were honored with medals, including eight Gold Medals.
The RateBeer awards are determined solely by the reviews of RateBeer’s millions of active members. RateBeer is home to the most experienced beer critics in the world with more than 400 master beer tasters having over 4,000 documented beer reviews. RateBeer is also home to countless certified cicerones, GABF, GBBF and BJCP judges.
Hill Farmstead Brewery continues to be extraordinarily grateful for the overwhelmingly positive support of the beer community, its members and our loyal fans. We look forward to continuing our work of providing the best beer in the world.

Greensboro's not the middle of nowhere—it's the middle of everything to us, and we thank you. Cheers!
Also, congratulations to so many of our friends in the beer world who were also rightfully honored. We raise a toast to you all!
About Hill Farmstead Brewery
Hill Farmstead Brewery is the culmination of many years of travel and insight—of experience and education—of friendships and explorations. The brewery is the revival and continuation of 225 years of Hill heritage and hand crafted history in North Greensboro, Vermont. Its logo is retrieved from a sign that once hung in Aaron Hill's (our great-great-great-grandfather) tavern, just up the hill, in the early 1800s.
