Stone Berlin Groundbreaking Collaborations - A Tasting with Greg Koch and Thomas Tyrell (Video)

From Stone:

In 2014, Stone Brewing kicked off plans to become the first American craft brewery to build, own and operate its own brewery in Europe. To celebrate, we announced a series of 14 incredible collaboration beers with some of the biggest and best names in craft brewing from around the world. In 2016, Stone Berlin opened and the collaborations began! Join Stone's Executive Chairman & co-founder Greg Koch, as well as Senior Director of Brewing Operations in Berlin, Thomas Tyrell, as they taste the eight amazing beers that have been released. And keep an eye out as the remaining six coming soon! For more information on the full line of Stone Berlin Groundbreaking Collaborations, check out http://www.stonebrewing.com/beer/ston....

Brewing comrades who met in the early 2000s, Sam Calagione (Dogfish Head), Bill Covaleski (Victory) and Greg Koch (Stone) have had their fair share of stories over the years. The original story finds these three forming an ad hoc craft beer revolution coalition in 2003 called Brewers United for Freedom of Flavor (BUFF), in 2003, that eventually leads to the first release of this hellaciously herbaceous beer back in 2010.

Back in 2014, we launched the Stone Berlin Groundbreaking Collaborations campaign, offering fans the chance to preorder fourteen special beers that would be created with some of the biggest names in the craft brewing industry. With the official opening of Stone Brewing Berlin and the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Berlin behind us, we’ve begun brewing this series of celebratory beers. We’re incredibly grateful for all your support and for joining us in our excitement to make these unique collaborations.
