Preston Weesner Moving From Cascade To Wild Barrel BrewingFrom Wild Barrel Brewing in San Marcos, CA:

Wild Barrel Brewing Company is excited to announce Preston Weesner has signed a letter of intent to join as a partner and direct our barrel programs.

He is an accomplished blender and spent 5 years at Portland's Cascade Brewing where he was the lead blender and stewarded the live barrel program which included over 50 one-off blends per year, many of which became production blends or cult favorites.

His focus is on the barrels and letting them speak to what they need on the beer's journey from concept to barrel to blend, and finally to conversation among friends while sharing the finished product.

    Just for the sake of accuracy, Preston left Cascade a few years ago.

    Preston has not been with Cascade for many years, this headline is somewhat misleading.
