SONOMA COUNTY, CA . (September 29, 2017)—Joining the Double IPA Series six-pack lineup this October, Racer X Double IPA is coming soon to a store near you. Racer X is one of the most desired Bear Republic offerings, with a limited and highly anticipated release each year.
An uncommon Double India Pale Ale, Racer X puts a California twist on English brewing traditions by adding an assertive hop aroma and bitterness.
Master Brewer, Peter Kruger, states “Racer X is a very hoppy and malty Double IPA. It pairs perfectly with boldly flavored cheeses, barbecue, and spicy foods.”
In addition to six-packs as a new offering, the popular Racer X will make its return in 22 oz. bottles and will be on draft at select retailers, bars, and restaurants where Bear Republic beer is sold, beginning in October. It will be available, locally, at the Bear Republic Healdsburg and Rohnert Park brewpub locations on Monday, October 2. Since it was originally created by the Brewmaster over fourteen years ago, Racer X has been released annually, much to the delight of beer drinkers across the nation. Fans have given the beer a four-star rating on Untappd and a 93% rating on BeerAdvocate.
