Saint Arnold Brewing Offering Free Beer For Flood Relief Donations

Saint Arnold Brewing Offering Free Beer For Flood Relief DonationsIf you’ve been following the Hurricane Harvey news, you’ll note that Houston, TX has been hit hard.  To help with relief efforts, Saint Arnold Brewing has remained open and has served as a drop-off location for flood relief supplies.  To aid in the effort, Saint Arnold Brewing co-founder Brock Wagner is offering a complimentary beer for anyone dropping off needed supplies.  The brewery is also helping coordinate relief and rescue efforts via their FaceBook page.  These snippets are from Saint Arnold:

UPDATE 31 Aug 2017:

Through Monday, during our normal public hours, we will be accepting donations of only the following items to be donated to Kids' Meals: healthy snacks, small water bottles, protein bars, and gift cards for gas. These are the items their families are in need of now. Bring in a donation of these items, and your first beer is on us.

Kids' Meals mission is to end childhood hunger by delivering free healthy meals to the doorsteps of Houston's hungriest preschool-aged children and through collaboration provide their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty.

We're live at the Brewery accepting donations for flood relief. If you can visit us safely, stop by and your first beer is on us!

Cody Hahn is with the Cajun Navy right now and they have 60 boats ready to help if needed tonight. If you know someone that needs assistance, please text him. They will be going in soon for the night so reach out ASAP!

We'll be open normal Wednesday hours in our Beer Hall tomorrow. Our kitchen is not up and running yet so feel free to BYOF.
Please only come if it's 100% safe for you to get there and get home!

Houston, you showed up AND then some this afternoon! Thank you to everyone that donated items and helped us sort them out. This is

  1. Job well done. Even big beer is jumping in to the relief efforts. I am no fan of big beer, but this is not the time for division. These people need help from any and all.

  2. I agree. Helping people should always come first.
