Nadia Kali from Great Divide Brewing Company is back on shelves and on tap! This year it is also available in cans! Nadia Kali is an inspired saison with cross-cultural influence. Her ruby pink glow comes from a generous infusion of hibiscus while ginger root gives it a subtle spice and hint of woodsy maturity, and lemon peel adds a citrus tartness.
This beer has a lovely pink hue with hints of citrus and spice. To create this beer, Great Divide's brewers started with the idea of creating a summer saison. They wanted to make a beer that stands out and that meant getting creative with fruits and spices.
When deciding on a name and a new icon for this beer, Great Divide wanted to pay homage to the cultures where hibiscus is the most culturally and historically significant. Including imagery that reflects the light, welcoming, enticing nature of the beer was also a focus in choosing the colors and scenery.
Nadia Kali will be available nationwide from May to September. It is available in 6-pack cans and 15.5 gallon and 5-gallon kegs. It pairs well with eggs benedict, pan-cooked soft sell crabs with papaya and lime prosciutto-wrapped melon, Fenugreek gouda, and pineapple pancakes.
