A change in distributors put a hiccup in Exit 12 shipping last month.  Starting Monday, a very limited amount will be reaching stores in the southern half of the state.

Exit 12 recognizes the many German immigrants who settled in New Jersey in the 19th and 20th centuries.  German beer culture always celebrates the season with a Maibock–a beer that balances the richness of winter beers with the lightness of warmer weather offerings.

Our version is a rich, full-bodied straw-colored 8% abv lager showcasing pilsner malt and German noble hops.  Malt flavors and aromas predominate while the hops add spicy overtones but little bitterness.

This is a beer that pairs well with many foods:  ham and lighter German fare, shellfish and goat cheese to name a few.  Or try it with a spiced dessert like carrot cake.  It also pairs incredibly well with abundant sunshine.
