This is the 3rd & 4th release from Brewer’s Storehouse. This release is a double IPA that hits 8.6%-AbV and you’re looking at the 12oz bottle. We also have Amber Ale (5.7%-AbV). One is packaged at Starr Hill and one at 638 Brewing.

Really enjoy the No 04 Double IPA. It's a little light on the usual citrus flavor many customary IPAs carry. It's crisp, full bodied, with a flavor that lingers on the palette. Great value at $8/6-pak at LIDL stores. Trying to figure how Brewer's Storehouse markets the beer??
ReplyDeleteBrewer's Storehouse is just the ambiguous house brand for Lidl's beers that are all contract brewed. I think to hit the price point they mostly use bittering hops in the boil and don't dry hop it very much so you don't get very much of the floral nose. It's not my favorite in the world but very drinkable - reminds me of a maltier version of Northern Lights from Starr Hill - and I'm sure not gonna complain for an $8 sixer of it.
DeleteI’ve enjoyed this double IPA from Lidl from day 1. I think it tastes great and packs a nice buzz as well!
ReplyDeleteI really like this brew! Tasty and refreshing. And over 8% abv.
