Today we get a peek at a new bottle coming from Highland Brewing. This is 4.9 IPA and it is brewed with Mosaic, Centennial and Ekuanot hops and it will be packaged in 12oz bottles. The “4.9” in the name symbolizes the 4.9%-AbV of this sessionable IPA, and stay tuned here for release info and sampling details.

We are EXCITED about this beer! The UPCs are all staff birthdays, the sales team has written haikus about it, the name, while obviously referencing the ABV of the beer, is also a shorter staff member’s height. The pilot batch names also reflect how much fun Highland is having with this beer, ranging from “Yay! IPA,” to “Hip to the Hop IPA,” and the classic “Hop Flash IPA.” You may have had a couple on some of your visits already!
