Council Releasing Fun With Mangos, Beatitude Boysenberry & Beatitude Pineapple Tart Saison

imageFrom Council Brewing:

Fun with Mangos | 10.2% ABV
Golden Sour Ale Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Alphonso Dried Mangos

Release Date: For sale in the Tasting Room now.
Details: This is a very limited bottle release. Therefore, bottles are only available in the Tasting Room and one store in Placentia, CA. No online sales.
Description: We don't think beer should be taken too seriously, so we decided to have some fun with this one. We started with a golden sour base, amped it up into a deceptively big beer, and took it over the top by aging it in bourbon barrels. Next we stuffed dried Alphonso mangos into each barrel by hand and continued aging the beer resulting in a candied mango flavor with a dry finish.

Beatitude Boysenberry | 9.7% ABV
Imperial Tart Saison Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Boysenberry Puree

Release Date: Saturday, December 17th 11:00am
Details: Pre-sale bottles will be available online starting Tuesday, December 13th at 12pm via Eventbrite.com.
Description: This beer was inspired through our Employee R&D program when our beertender, Candice, aged her favorite fruit, boysenberries, along with toasted American oak in the base beer of Beatitude. To hold up to these bold ingredients, we boosted the malt bill, left it up to our house Beatitude culture to create their magic in Bourbon barrels, and aged it with boysenberries. The result is a delicious and deceivingly easy to drink but complex beer with a fruity tart and bourbon aroma, a boysenberry jam mid-palate, and an oaky, vanilla finish.

Beatitude Pineapple Batch #2

Beatitude Pineapple Tart Saison 4.5% ABV
One of our most popular Beatitude variants, Pineapple, will be back on tap and available in bottles starting today in the Tasting Room.
Tasting Notes: This beer is like a sun-kissed tropical day on the beach with a lacto forward nose and tart acidity, rounded out with ripe sweetness from the pineapple and a crisp dry finish. Come taste this fresh batch on tap and see for yourself 2pm-9pm today.
