FORT WORTH, TX (October 5, 2016) – Dickies, the world’s leading performance workwear brand, has joined forces with Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. to present a 600 square-foot interactive booth at the 35th annual Great American Beer Festival (GABF), October 6-8, 2016 in Denver, Colorado. The partnership between the brands was a natural fit as both are Fort Worth-based companies and the brewery looks to Dickies to provide many of its employees’ uniforms and consumer branded apparel options.

The booth will feature Dickies’ latest workwear styles, the ability to custom embroidery a classic Dickies Work Shirt on the spot, 10 Rahr & Sons beers on tap and a vintage-style barbershop offering beard trims. More than 800 breweries will participate in this year’s GABF; however, Dickies and Rahr & Sons will be one of just 20 companies to have on-site presence.

“We’re proud to collaborate with Dickies because they have a storied history of being leaders in their industry,” said Fritz Rahr, owner of Rahr & Sons. “The Great American Beer Fest is a perfect opportunity to showcase Rahr & Sons beers alongside the world’s best work-wear.”

Held annually in the fall, GABF is the country’s premier festival and competition, gathering hundreds of breweries from around the U.S. to showcase thousands of beers. Rahr & Sons won two gold medals in the 2015 GABF for The Regulator in the German-Style Doppelbock or Eisbock category and Oktoberfest in the German-Style Marzen category.

“We know craft brewers have to work unbelievably hard and we know many of them look to Dickies to help them get the job done,” said Brent Streit, vice-president of marketing, Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. “We look forward to Beer Fest and partnering with our neighborhood brewmasters to help us celebrate hard work and the art of creating great craft beer,” added Streit.

Rahr & Sons and Dickies will be at The Great American Beer Festival beginning Thursday, October 6 until Saturday, October 8 at Booth #39. To learn more and see a map of the Festival, please visit: greatamericanbeerfestival.com/at-the-festival/festival-map.
