865cc Coffee Stout
DuClaw Brewing Company brewer Kurt Krol’s love of gourmet coffee inspired this highly drinkable union of stout and Cafe Racer XXX 865cc coffee that won the gold medal in the “flavored beer” category at the 2014 Atlantic City Beer Festival.
This medium-bodied stout is black in color with a large, lingering tan head, creamy mouthfeel, and intense roasted coffee flavors and aromas (without any additional coffee bitterness) from an addition of cold steeped, Cafe Racer XXX 865cc coffee roasted locally in Baltimore, Maryland.
