The 5th Annual Beer For Beasts is only 3 weeks away and you literally can’t walk through the brewery without bumping into something fermenting for the event — Mexican chocolate stout; a pale brett saison with cucumber, mint, and ginger; a seriously aromatic IPA brewed with experimental german hops; an alpine mint-oatmeal stout… the list goes on and on.

Name of Beer: Brew Who Cannot Be Named & Rudy Ginger 
About the Beer: A Black Lager and Ginger Pumpkin ale
"The beers are named for my two rescue cats — the black lager is for my black cat He Who Cannot Be Named (we call him Hewho). The Ginger Pumpkin is for Rudy, my orange and white cat we found on Eastern Parkway. They’re delightful beers and delightful beasts!"

Name of Beer: BFB1 Peppercorn Saison
About the Beer: This saison with peppercorns is dry with a distinct spiciness alongside floral notes provided by the red, white, and green peppercorns. 
"We use peppercorns in several of our beers as a subtle addition but we wanted to make something more overtly spice forward. We started emailing with Marcus and said that he had just purchased a few different kinds peppercorn and they were sitting right in front of him. That made the final decision easy."

About the Beer: Pumpkin Honey Porter with no spices
A pumpkin beer for h8rs of the style. A Pulchritudinous n’ Captively Promising libation with a Personal Carefree Philosophy that Persists Cunningly to Parallel the euphoria of Phencyclidine. Pumpkin. Craft. Porter. (Also a Politically Correct Porter — no drug references or jokes about drinking seed please.)
