An imperial stout beer named Give Me Stout or Give Me Death will be Stone Brewing Co.’s first collaborative beer with two Richmond-area craft breweries.
Stone Brewing, a San Diego-based craft beer maker, opened its first East Coast brewery in Richmond earlier this year. It is working with two home-grown Richmond-area brewers, Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and Ardent Craft Ales, to make the special edition beer described as “an aggressively hopped imperial stout.”
The dark beer is expected to be available in a limited release this fall at retail stores in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. The stout should be in stores in the Richmond area beginning in September.
