The Bruery Releasing Dodie Bottles 7/29

DODIE PUBLIC DRAFT AND BOTTLE RELEASE

This Friday, it's time to dip the bill with Dodie, all you fellas and flappers, as we celebrate this limited beer's public bottle and draft release. Dodie is inspired by a classic New York concoction and shares a nickname with Grandma Rue, who was quite keen on the ritzy drink. It’s got no giggle juice on its rap sheet, but it’s a dandy recreation of the profile of a classic Manhattan cocktail - from the grain (rye, corn, wheat and barley), bourbon character from barrel-aging, and a complex blend of 30+ spices and grape must for bitters-eque and vermouth-like notes. Fancy a garnish? We saved you a step. Cherries and orange zest come out as your kisser hits glass.

Bottles will go on sale when we open at noon.

Frambulous

PUBLIC DRAFT AND BOTTLE RELEASE

We've been up a kriek before. This is an entirely different excursion. French for "raspberry", the term "framboise" is most commonly used when referring to raspberry fruited oak-aged sour ale. And we think that's just Frambulous. Literally. Our SoCal take on the Belgian-style beer is a blend of oak-aged sour ale with raspberries, imparting a pinkish opulence to complement its boisterous, bubbly mouthfeel.

On Tuesday, August 2, we celebrate the public bottle and draft release of Frambulous in the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room when we open at noon.
