Lakefront - Brandy Barrel-Aged Cherry Lager

Here’s an exciting new beer heading to bottles form Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, WI.  This is their Brandy Barrel-Aged Cherry Lager and it is brewed with Wisconsin cherries.  This is a 12oz bottle and the beer will hit 6.8%-AbV.  Lakefront is saying to look for a July-ish release if all goes well.

    10.7% abv, smells and tastes of brandy and wood, tobacco, tannins, slight vanilla, slight caramel and slight cherry, pretty subdued for me. Followed with some warming. Dominant is brandy for sure. Kinda out of balance cold, but as it got to room temp she really popped. Looking forward to another one tomorrow with some sweet habanero cheese. Cheers!
