Our beloved STUMPTOWN Tart is back but with a twist. This year, our brewers have brewed a Cherry Saison featuring Pacific Northwest sour cherries. This refreshing and drinkable brew put sour cherries on a pedestal by incorporating over 2,000 pounds of Pacific Northwest sour cherries. The brewers started with a blended malt base using 20% wheat and a Belgian Saison yeast to provide a soft malt backbone for the sour cherry flavor to stand out. They then lightly hopped it with German and Czech hops to provide a little additional character. STUMPTOWN Tart Cherry Saison comes in with 7.0% ABV, 15 IBU’s and an OG of 15.85. This great beer won’t be around for long so get it while you can!
Join us at the BrewPub on March 10 from 5:30 – 8:00pm to have the first taste of BridgePort’s new beer, STUMPTOWN Tart Cherry Saison. Bottle model, Bernie Dexter will be on-site for pictures, signed posters and a kissing booth! All donations from the kissing booth will benefit Oregon Wild.
