In Nov 2015, two people bid for a chance to brew with Hoppin’ Frog, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. The first collaboration beer is called Good For What Ales You and it is an American DIPA that is similar to Hoppin’ Frog Mean Manalishi (8.2%-AbV, 168 IBU). The second beer will be released in about a month and it is an imperial American brown ale named American Hop Surgeon.
