Great Lakes Adds New Seasonal Ohio City Oatmeal Stout 10/19

We brought you a look at this beer in Aug, and now this from Great Lakes Brewing:

In our Christmas Ale First Pour announcement, you may have noticed that we teased a brand new winter-themed seasonal. Now it’s finally time to give a warm welcome to Ohio City Oatmeal Stout! This former Pub Exclusive has medaled at Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Championships, and over the years it's become a fan favorite at our brewpub. We couldn't be more excited to share Ohio City Oatmeal Stout with even more of our customers in 6-packs, 12-packs, and kegs starting this October.

STORY
Dark and roasty yet light and smooth as a fresh coat of snow, our Oatmeal Stout will kick your cabin fever and inspire you to toss another log on the fire.

Our Oatmeal Stout is named in celebration of our brewery's Ohio City neighborhood. Within Ohio City Oatmeal Stout'snostalgic wintry label are references to our brewpub's cobblestone street, the historic West Side Market, the oats that give our Oatmeal Stout its smooth and creamy texture, and a nod to the historic Leonard Schlather Brewery, whose stables once occupied the building that's now home to our production brewery.

FLAVOR
Ohio City Oatmeal Stout is a smooth and creamy medium-bodied stout with soft malty notes and a dry finish.

ABV: 5.4%

IBU: 25

PAIRS WITH
Chocolate desserts, aged cheddar, and a flannel blanket
