Breakside Brewery Releases La Tormenta Dry-Hopped Sour Ale

imageFrom Breakside:

Portland & Milwaukie, OR - Breakside Brewery is happy to announce the return of last years popular fall and early winter seasonal 'La Tormenta' a dry-hopped sour ale. Available now in Oregon and beginning this week in Washington, La Tormenta is packaged in beautiful watercolor label art on 22oz bottles as well as by draft. There will be limited availability of La Tormenta in British Columbia, Hawaii, and the Denver, Colorado area.

La Tormenta description:

Our final seasonal bottle for the 2015 brew year is our experimental sour ale made with a unique blend of citrusy, tropical and fruity hops. Bracing-yet-balanced sour notes combine beautifully with West Coast hop flavor in this sweet and tart ale. This beer was one of our most popular offerings last year, and we're excited to re-release it as a light and beguiling alternative to classic winter beers. Notes of blueberry, guava, grapefruit, and lemongrass are offset by a juicy acidity, medium body, and a moderate sweetness from caramel malt.
