Troegs will be adding eight additional outdoor fermentation tanks over the next two years. This will double their outdoor fermentation capacity to 16 with approval in place to go up to 24 (about 300,000bbls). These tanks are 800bbls each and this move will allow them to go beyond their current 100,000bbl capacity. As a benchmark, Troegs is already expecting to cross 80,000bbls in 2015.
No word on whether this will allow Troegs to add additional states to their 11-state portfolio. Likely (but not confirmed) are VT, ME, RI and WV but stay tuned on that one.
