From the CharlotteObserver:
NoDa Brewing Co. has set Oct. 1 as the opening date for its second location in Charlotte’s North End. It will host a party that night and, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, donate some of the celebration’s proceeds to breast cancer research.
The new 32,000-square-foot facility at 2921 N. Tryon St. quadruples NoDa’s production capacity, the company said in a statement this week. The brewhouse will house 60 barrels and 240-barrel fermenters.
The new brewery will also have a large taproom with a private event room and more outdoor seating. Year-round and seasonal beers will be made at the new facility, NoDa says. Its hours will be 4-8:30 p.m. weekdays, noon-10 p.m. Saturday and 1-6 p.m. Sunday.
