From Troegs:
We’re kicking our Scratch Beer Series into high gear with the recent formation of our Research & Small Batch Brewing Team, who have been busy perfecting a Chocolate Stout recipe. The latest incarnation of this decadent stout (Scratch #192) just hit tap lines in the Tasting Room on Thursday, May 28. On deck, we’ve got another Rye Ale brewed with Experimental “06277” (aka “Nuggetzilla”) hops, one of our recent favorites from John’s trip to Yakima last fall. Also coming soon is an encore performance of our first-ever Gose (released as Sour Wheat Ale). This time, we plan to under-promise and over-deliver when we serve the beer with a delicious strawberry rhubarb tonic created in-house by Chef Christian. Also on the horizon, we’ve got a huge lip-smacking Double IPA in the works, which will be out later in June, as well as our annualAles for ALS™ beer to benefit the ALS Therapy Development Institute sometime in July. Finally, we’re going to be working with the Hershey Volunteer Fire Co. Station #48 to develop what we’re calling Red Steam Common Ale, which will hearken back to the very first Scratch Beer produced (a California Common, or “steam” beer). We plan to release this special beer later this summer. Stay tuned to our social media channels and troegs.com for updates on this beer.
